Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Trovarel, we understand that every experience and service is different. A private activity, a destination event, and a professional service may require different preparation times and commitments. For this reason, cancellation terms may vary by listing.

Guests should review the cancellation policy shown on each listing before completing a booking.

For Guests

1. Cancellation Terms

Each host sets a cancellation policy for their listing based on the nature of the experience or service provided.

Cancellation terms may vary depending on factors such as:

  • preparation requirements
  • availability of the provider
  • event planning needs
  • materials or resources required

The cancellation policy applicable to a booking will always be displayed before payment is completed.

2. Refunds

Refund eligibility is determined by the cancellation policy selected for the listing.

Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Trovarel may deduct applicable transaction or processing fees where permitted.

3. Host Cancellations

If a host cancels a confirmed booking, the guest will generally receive a full refund.

Hosts should notify guests as soon as possible and make reasonable efforts to assist with rescheduling when appropriate.

Repeated cancellations may impact a host’s standing on Trovarel.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

Trovarel may review refund requests related to extraordinary circumstances, including natural disasters, travel restrictions, or other events outside the guest’s control.

Exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

For Hosts

1. Setting Cancellation Policies

Hosts are responsible for selecting cancellation terms that accurately reflect their listing.

Hosts should consider:

  • preparation time
  • advance bookings
  • event commitments
  • non-refundable expenses

The selected policy must be clearly communicated to guests before booking.

2. Guest No-Shows

If a guest does not attend a scheduled experience or appointment without prior notice, the booking will generally be considered non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the listing policy.

3. Disputes

If a cancellation dispute occurs, Trovarel may review the circumstances and assist in resolving the issue fairly.

Our goal is to support both guests and hosts while maintaining a reliable marketplace.

Trovarel helps people discover extraordinary experiences and trusted local services that turn meaningful moments into unforgettable memories.
