These Host Guidelines outline the expectations and standards for individuals, professionals, and businesses offering experiences and services through Trovarel.
Trovarel is built to connect travelers with authentic, memorable, and high-quality experiences created by local hosts. These guidelines help maintain a trusted marketplace where guests can discover unique offerings while hosts have the opportunity to share their expertise and passion.
By creating a listing on Trovarel, you agree to follow these Host Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and all applicable local laws and regulations.
Trovarel is an experience-focused marketplace designed around quality, authenticity, and meaningful connections.
We believe the best travel experiences are created through genuine expertise, creativity, and personal connection. Listings should provide guests with something memorable, participatory, or unique to the destination.
Trovarel is not intended to be a marketplace for generic tourism products. We prioritize experiences that allow guests to learn, create, taste, celebrate, relax, or connect with local culture and communities.
Trovarel welcomes individuals, professionals, and businesses offering unique experiences and services, including but not limited to:
Hosts may include specialized professionals when they contribute meaningful value to the overall experience.
Trovarel is designed for unique experiences, destination services, and personalized offerings that give travelers and customers something more than a standard, mass-market tourism product.
Examples of experiences and services that may be suitable for Trovarel include:
Private chefs and in-home dining experiences
Cooking classes, baking classes, and culinary workshops
Photography and professional photo sessions
Makeup, styling, and beauty services for events or special occasions
Yoga, fitness, wellness, and relaxation experiences
Art, pottery, painting, craft, and other creative workshops
Dance, music, and cultural experiences
Local food and cultural experiences
Private excursions and outdoor activities
Hiking, nature, and adventure experiences
Boat trips, sailing, and other water-based experiences
Personalized celebrations and destination event services
Wedding and special-event services
Musicians, performers, and entertainment for events
Personalized lessons or activity-based experiences
Family-friendly activities and experiences
Unique local services designed around travelers’ interests or needs
These examples are not intended to represent a complete list. Trovarel welcomes creative and original offerings that provide genuine value to customers.
Transportation may be included as part of an experience when it is necessary to provide that experience. For example, a host may provide transportation from a designated meeting point to a hiking location as part of a hiking experience. However, transportation cannot be offered as a standalone service.
All experiences and services should be accurately represented and reflect the host’s personality, knowledge, skills, qualifications, or expertise where applicable.
To maintain the quality, identity, and purpose of Trovarel, certain types of experiences and services are not permitted on the platform.
Examples of offerings that are generally not suitable for Trovarel include:
Offerings outside Trovarel’s marketplace purpose
Standalone transportation services, such as airport transfers, taxis, chauffeur services, or car-for-hire services
Accommodation, including hotels, vacation rentals, apartments, private rooms, or other lodging
Standalone language lessons, tutoring, academic courses, or educational programs
Online courses or digital-only services
Long-term professional services that are unrelated to travel, events, or destination experiences
Generic errands, delivery services, or personal assistance that do not provide a destination-based experience
Standard retail products or merchandise sold without an accompanying experience or service
Generic walking tours with little beyond basic sightseeing or information readily available to the public
Pub crawls or nightlife offerings primarily centered around drinking
Generic, mass-market tourism products that do not provide a distinctive or personalized experience
Offerings that may violate legal, safety, or marketplace requirements
Experiences or services that violate applicable laws, regulations, or local requirements
Activities that require licenses, permits, insurance, certifications, or other qualifications that the host does not have
Experiences involving prohibited, illegal, or highly regulated activities
Services involving unsafe or unreasonable risks to customers
Experiences or services that are misleading, fraudulent, or intentionally deceptive
Listings that make inaccurate, exaggerated, or unverifiable claims
Duplicate, spam, or excessively repetitive listings
Listings submitted by someone who is not authorized or qualified to provide the advertised experience or service
Offerings that fail to meet applicable health, safety, professional, or regulatory requirements
These examples are not exhaustive. Trovarel may determine that an experience or service is not appropriate for the marketplace based on its nature, presentation, applicable requirements, or overall fit with the platform.
Trovarel may request changes to a listing, restrict its visibility, or remove a listing if it does not meet our guidelines or if circumstances change after publication.
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, complete, and professionally presented.
All listings must:
False, misleading, or incomplete information may result in listing removal or account restrictions.
Trovarel operates through a commission-based marketplace model.
Hosts may create listings free of charge and only pay a commission when they receive successful bookings through the platform.
Trovarel applies a 15% commission on completed bookings. This commission supports platform operations, marketplace development, customer support, and connecting hosts with travelers.
Host payouts are processed according to Trovarel’s payment procedures.
Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring that their experiences comply with all applicable local, regional, and national laws, regulations, and requirements.
This includes, where applicable:
Hosts are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required approvals, licenses, permits, insurance, or registrations necessary to legally provide their experience or service.
Trovarel does not provide legal, tax, licensing, or regulatory advice and does not guarantee that a host’s experience complies with local requirements.
Hosts must prioritize guest safety and provide experiences that are:
Hosts should communicate clearly with guests before and during experiences and promptly address any concerns.
Hosts are expected to maintain professional and respectful interactions with all guests.
The following are not permitted:
Hosts are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all travelers.
Trovarel is committed to maintaining a trusted, high-quality marketplace. Listings and platform activity may be monitored to ensure compliance with these Host Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and our marketplace standards.
While Trovarel does not guarantee pre-approval of every listing before it becomes available, we reserve the right to review, modify, restrict, or remove any listing or account that does not meet our requirements or negatively impacts the guest experience.
If a listing or host activity violates Trovarel’s guidelines, we may take actions including:
Trovarel reserves the right to take appropriate action at its discretion to protect the quality, safety, and integrity of the marketplace.

Hosts who join Trovarel agree to help maintain a marketplace built on trust, authenticity, professionalism, and exceptional guest experiences.
