TROVAREL HOST GUIDELINES

These Host Guidelines outline the expectations and standards for individuals, professionals, and businesses offering experiences and services through Trovarel.
Trovarel is built to connect travelers with authentic, memorable, and high-quality experiences created by local hosts. These guidelines help maintain a trusted marketplace where guests can discover unique offerings while hosts have the opportunity to share their expertise and passion.
By creating a listing on Trovarel, you agree to follow these Host Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and all applicable local laws and regulations.
1. Trovarel’s Marketplace Philosophy
Trovarel is an experience-focused marketplace designed around quality, authenticity, and meaningful connections.
We believe the best travel experiences are created through genuine expertise, creativity, and personal connection. Listings should provide guests with something memorable, participatory, or unique to the destination.
Trovarel is not intended to be a marketplace for generic tourism products. We prioritize experiences that allow guests to learn, create, taste, celebrate, relax, or connect with local culture and communities.
2. Who Can Host on Trovarel
Trovarel welcomes individuals, professionals, and businesses offering unique experiences and services, including but not limited to:
- Private chefs and culinary professionals
- Photographers and creative professionals
- Artists and workshop instructors
- Wellness professionals
- Local activity providers
- Event and celebration specialists
- Cultural and lifestyle experience providers
- Other qualified professionals offering unique guest experiences
Hosts may include specialized professionals when they contribute meaningful value to the overall experience.
3. Acceptable Experiences
Examples of experiences that may be suitable for Trovarel include:
- Private dining experiences
- Cooking classes and culinary workshops
- Photography sessions
- Creative workshops
- Wellness and relaxation experiences
- Personalized celebrations or special occasions
- Local cultural experiences
- Outdoor or lifestyle activities
- Unique services designed around travelers’ interests
All experiences should provide genuine value and reflect the personality, knowledge, or expertise of the host.
4. Experiences That Are Not Accepted
To maintain the quality and identity of Trovarel, the following types of listings are not permitted:
- Generic walking tours with no unique experience component
- Pub crawls or nightlife tours focused primarily on drinking
- Mass-market tourism products
- Listings copied from other platforms or providers
- Misleading, exaggerated, or inaccurate descriptions
- Duplicate or spam listings
- Experiences that violate applicable laws or regulations
- Listings that do not align with Trovarel’s quality standards
Trovarel reserves the right to remove or restrict listings that do not meet the platform’s standards.
5. Listing Requirements
Hosts are responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, complete, and professionally presented.
All listings must:
- Clearly explain what guests will experience
- Provide accurate pricing, duration, availability, and location details
- Use authentic images that represent the actual experience
- Clearly communicate requirements, restrictions, and expectations
- Accurately describe the host’s qualifications and services
- Provide a safe and respectful experience for guests
False, misleading, or incomplete information may result in listing removal or account restrictions.
6. Host Commission and Payments
Trovarel operates through a commission-based marketplace model.
Hosts may create listings free of charge and only pay a commission when they receive successful bookings through the platform.
Trovarel applies a 15% commission on completed bookings. This commission supports platform operations, marketplace development, customer support, and connecting hosts with travelers.
Host payouts are processed according to Trovarel’s payment procedures.
7. Host Legal Responsibilities
Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring that their experiences comply with all applicable local, regional, and national laws, regulations, and requirements.
This includes, where applicable:
- Business registrations
- Permits or licenses
- Insurance requirements
- Safety regulations
- Tax obligations
- Health and safety requirements
- Professional certifications
Hosts are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required approvals, licenses, permits, insurance, or registrations necessary to legally provide their experience or service.
Trovarel does not provide legal, tax, licensing, or regulatory advice and does not guarantee that a host’s experience complies with local requirements.
8. Safety and Guest Experience Standards
Hosts must prioritize guest safety and provide experiences that are:
- Accurately represented
- Professionally delivered
- Conducted in a safe environment
- Respectful and inclusive
- Consistent with the listing description
Hosts should communicate clearly with guests before and during experiences and promptly address any concerns.
9. Professional Conduct
Hosts are expected to maintain professional and respectful interactions with all guests.
The following are not permitted:
- Harassment or discrimination
- Fraudulent activity
- Unsafe conduct
- Misrepresentation of services
- Inappropriate behavior toward guests
Hosts are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all travelers.
10. Monitoring and Enforcement
Trovarel is committed to maintaining a trusted, high-quality marketplace. Listings and platform activity may be monitored to ensure compliance with these Host Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and our marketplace standards.
While Trovarel does not guarantee pre-approval of every listing before it becomes available, we reserve the right to review, modify, restrict, or remove any listing or account that does not meet our requirements or negatively impacts the guest experience.
If a listing or host activity violates Trovarel’s guidelines, we may take actions including:
- Requesting updates or corrections to a listing
- Restricting listing visibility
- Removing a listing from the platform
- Suspending or limiting a host account
- Permanently removing a host from Trovarel
Trovarel reserves the right to take appropriate action at its discretion to protect the quality, safety, and integrity of the marketplace.
