Welcome to the Trovarel FAQ page. Here you’ll find answers to common questions about listings, payments, and platform use.
 
 

General Questions

Trovarel is a curated marketplace for high-quality experiences, professional services, and events. We connect hosts with travelers and locals seeking immersive, creative, and memorable offerings.

Anyone 18 years or older can create a guest account. Children under 18 may participate in experiences only with adult supervision, host approval, and in compliance with local laws. Children cannot create accounts or book independently

Yes. Hosts and guests can use the platform internationally. Users are responsible for complying with local laws in their country of use.

The site Trovarel will be available in multiple languages soon. The English-language version of our Terms and Policies prevails in case of any discrepancies. 

Hosts may offer any languages for their services. It will be shown in each listing’s details which languages are available. 

Simply browse available experiences, select the one you are interested in, choose your preferred date, and complete the booking process through Trovarel. Your host will receive the booking details and prepare your experience.

Payments, Bookings & Cancellations

Guests may cancel their booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time to receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the experience are non-refundable.

Payments are completed securely on Trovarel using trusted third-party payment providers. Guests book and pay directly through the platform.

Guests and hosts should communicate directly to resolve booking-related questions. Trovarel can review reports related to technical problems, platform misuse, safety concerns, or policy violations.

If a host cancels, guests are eligible for a full refund. Hosts are encouraged to notify guests as early as possible and may offer rescheduling when appropriate.

No-shows are non-refundable unless otherwise approved in exceptional circumstances.

Hosting & Listings

Joining Trovarel is simple. Create an account, submit your listing, and provide the required information about your experience or service. Each listing must meet Trovarel’s quality standards before becoming available to travelers. 

Trovarel accepts curated, participatory offerings, including:

  • Cooking workshops, private chef events, wine tastings

  • Fashion, art, jewelry-making, and photography workshops

  • Wellness experiences such as yoga, Pilates, or guided sessions

  • Events such as exhibitions, proposal setups, or curated gatherings

  • Professional services like event photography, styling, or creative support

Other offerings that meet our quality and curation standards may also be accepted.

Prohibited listings include:

  • Walking tours, bar/pub crawls, or mass-tourism activities

  • Ride or delivery services

  • Childcare, nannying, or healthcare services

  • Misrepresented, misleading, or illegal offerings

Failure to comply may result in listing removal or account suspension.

Creating a host account and submitting a listing is free. Trovarel operates through a commission-based model, meaning you only pay a percentage of completed bookings made through the platform.

Trovarel charges a 15% commission on successful bookings made through the platform. This allows us to maintain and improve the marketplace while helping hosts connect with travelers without upfront listing fees.

Safety, Legal & Support

Children under 18 may participate only with adult supervision, host approval, and compliance with local laws. Children cannot create accounts or book independently.

Hosts must:

  • Accurately describe offerings and use original photos

  • Comply with all applicable laws, permits, licenses, insurance, and taxes

  • Communicate professionally and deliver as described

  • Clearly disclose age, skill, physical, or safety requirements

Violations may result in:

  • Listing removal

  • Temporary or permanent account suspension

  • Forfeiture of paid membership fees for the affected period

Users in the EU or UK may have statutory consumer and data protection rights that cannot be waived. Trovarel is structured to comply with applicable regulations. Host are responsible for following all local laws and regulations of the area they’re offering services in.
